Following graduation from Southern Methodist University School of Law, Jeff Meyerson started his career in Dallas in the area of worker’s compensation and on the job injury litigation. In 1995, he moved to Austin to start ML Firm, focusing on injury related litigation. Over the years, the firm has handled a variety of cases including products liability, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, fraud, and professional malpractice. The firm’s litigators have practiced in state and federal courts all over Texas and many other states including Colorado, California, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Arizona and Idaho. The firm has been successful in appellate law with victories in Texas appellate courts and the U.S. Fifth Circuit. In 2017, Jeff Meyerson was honored as Appellate Attorney of the Week by the Texas Lawyer for his win against Medtronic in a medical device litigation case. In 2020, The ML Firm won a summary judgment against Amazon in a products liability case that is now receiving national attention as it makes its way through the U.S. Fifth Circuit and the Texas Supreme Court.
